I feel like I could photograph for Carolyn hours!  She is just stunning and I would love to have her hair!  I wanted to do a darker, moodier portrait studio session this time and I really love how these images turned out.  I actually wanted these photographs to submit to a contest I participate in on a yearly basis and I wanted to submit something different this year.  Last year I placed in the top 10% which was amazing, this year I don’t think any of my images placed which is sad but eh…there’s always next year!  Anyways, Thank you Carolyn for being my model again!Tween Studio Portrait SessionGirl Laying on grassStudio Portrait SessionTween Portrait PhotographyTween Studio Portrait Session

I thought for sure, when this little guy came in, we were doing his 3 month baby portraits, nope!  It was his 6 month portraits!!!  I couldn’t believe it!  Time serious does go by fast when you have a baby at home.   He was all smiles for the camera and I loved that he had his Foxy stuffed animal.  He is a natural in front of the camera and is still a beautiful baby.  I can’t wait to see what new tricks he will have learned for his 9 month old portrait session!  Studio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boy

If you don’t know, every year I do a styled photoshoot, usually it’s around Halloween. This year we decided to do the photoshoot in January so we could take advantage of the snow, it was fun but of course cold!  We were able to find some pretty neat spots around Tinkham Road and most of the roads weren’t very crowed  so of course that was nice.  I thought for sure we’d be able to do something around Franklin Falls, wrong!!  That place was packed!  Anyways, thank you to everyone who made this stylized snow shoot possible!  Make Up Artist:  Korrine Claxton ( http://www.korrinesfacialandwaxingstudio.com/) , Model: Sophia ,  Black Skirt : Jeanine GirelloTween Snow ShootTween Snow ShootTween Snow ShootTween Snow ShootTween Snow Shoot

I swore off weddings.   I don’t have the passion for weddings..so I will gladly refer you to a wedding Photog..I have not shame!  BUT when my husband’s looooonnnnngggggg time friend’s daughter was getting married, how could I have passed that up?? Photographing their wedding reminded me of everything I LOVED about weddings and everything I didn’t….I am glad I was given an opportunity to be a part of this couple’s special day; it was beautiful and moving.  It almost made me want to start doing wedding again..almost.

This couple was amazing and beautiful!  I loved them!  This day could not have been more perfect.

A little late, but Happy New Year!  Thank you everyone for an amazing 2015!  I sincerely enjoyed seeing old clients for their annual family portraits and meeting new clients through maternity portrait session and newborn baby sessions.   I am looking forward to seeing what 2016 brings, I can’t thank you all enough!  Here’s to 2016, Cheers!
