I haven’t seen this family since last year and I can’t believe how much the boys grew (the little one wore his Sassy Pants today!).  Ellie and David where here on their way back from their epic honeymoon trip and decided to schedule a family photo session while they were picking up the kids.  I’m glad I had a chance to squeeze this family in, I always enjoy seeing them and catching up.  Safe travels back to the East Coast!

I truly enjoy photographing this family, they are all so photogenic!  M is now in his 2’s and he has a mouth full of teeth!  I saw him last year in the fall for Christmas pictures and he has grown so much since then.  M is a fast one too, I am sure he keeps mom and dad on their toes.

We had to reschedule this family session a couple of times, as Seattle weather rarely cooperates.  It just so happened, that out schedules aligned and we were able to do something on M’s birthday!  So Happy Birthday!

For the past four  years I have been a part of the Shoot and Share community and I have to say its a pretty amazing group of photographers.  They host a contest and this is my second year participating in the contest.   This year, to my surprise, I ended in up in the top 3%!  There were about 120 countries participating and about 220 thousand images submitted.  Below are the two images that made it to the final round . One is from a tween session and the other is of my daughter!!  I think those are my two favorite ages to photograph, Tweens and toddlers!  Anyways . . .Here ya go!

I feel like I could photograph for Carolyn hours!  She is just stunning and I would love to have her hair!  I wanted to do a darker, moodier portrait studio session this time and I really love how these images turned out.  I actually wanted these photographs to submit to a contest I participate in on a yearly basis and I wanted to submit something different this year.  Last year I placed in the top 10% which was amazing, this year I don’t think any of my images placed which is sad but eh…there’s always next year!  Anyways, Thank you Carolyn for being my model again!Tween Studio Portrait SessionGirl Laying on grassStudio Portrait SessionTween Portrait PhotographyTween Studio Portrait Session

I thought for sure, when this little guy came in, we were doing his 3 month baby portraits, nope!  It was his 6 month portraits!!!  I couldn’t believe it!  Time serious does go by fast when you have a baby at home.   He was all smiles for the camera and I loved that he had his Foxy stuffed animal.  He is a natural in front of the camera and is still a beautiful baby.  I can’t wait to see what new tricks he will have learned for his 9 month old portrait session!  Studio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boyStudio Portrait of 6 month old baby boy
