I had the opportunity to pamper my step mom with a Modern Beauty Session in my home studio in Kent!  It took a little bit of convincing to get her into my studio, but I truly believe everyone woman deserves at least one beautiful picture of herself.  I think that was accomplished during this session!  Professional Hair was done by Liza Luna and Professional Makeup was done by Korrine Claxton.

One of the things that may prevent you from having a Modern Beauty session is that you may not feel you are “good enough” or “skinny enough” .  I know I had those same feelings when I did a trade with another photographer.  After the sessions I have done, most of the women have said they are glad they had a Modern Beauty session, as they felt beautiful and pampered.  Take some time for yourself because you do deserve it and you are worth it!

Ellie is the first momma in the Bellies to Babies Campaign to be photographed! I loved doing this maternity photography, Ellie is so stunning in these pictures.  The day started in my home studio in Kent, my ” Glam crew” came over to do Ellie’s  hair and makeup.
Hair/ headpiece were done by Missy Millan and makeup by Korrine Claxton. Looking forward to photographing her newest addition next month!

I had the opportunity to do a tween photography session with Carolyn and McKenna.  We had an in studio session in Kent with my professional hair and makeup artists (Liza Luna and Korrine Claxton, respectively).  These two girls are just gorgeous!  I can’t wait to see what their future has in store for them. Thank you for coming in, I had so much fun photographing working with these tweens!

I had so much fun with Stadium High School Senior, Jess!  This young lady is gorgeous! She has a lot of big plans for her future, all of which are so inspiring!  One of her goals is to open an Eco -friendly restaurant, how cool is that!  I can not wait to see how her future unfolds as she journeys into the next chapter in her life!  Best of Luck Jess! This year’s Halloween Shoot was inspired by Alice in Wonderland but since its Halloween..we decided to make her dead! Here is the back story. . . The Red Queen had planned for Alice’s return to Wonderland and had replaced the “drink me” contents with poison, so when Alice drank it..she died! But Alice had no idea she was dead until she left Wonderland. Crawling out of the rabbit hole, Alice starts to feel a little strange. As she wanders through the forest, she happens to come across a small little village…and she is starving! So, Alice stops in for a bite. Only then, after devouring some of the inhabitants in the village does she realize something is wrong! Here are the individual photos – check the next blog the cheesy comic strip! Hair: Tiffany Burton with Milo Salon in Tacoma, Makeup: Korrine Claxton with Korrine’s Facial and Waxing Studio.
