It FINALLY arrived, my studio lighting!! I had to research a bunch of stuff…then order it, then send some of the equipment back as it was missing pieces, but the last piece came today. I’d have to say it was a little bit of an ordeal. I am super excited and I can’t wait to start using my new studio lighting setup! Bring on the babies, kids, and headshots!

I had this idea of having a session with a bunch of babies in a tub with bubbles, I actually did a session like this when I first started out, I’ll have to find the pictures and post them. But since my skills have improved I thought I’d try it again. But working with three babies never turns out the way I planned…they always have their own little agendas! I’ve seen a lot of my photog friends doing composites and they look really cool! So I thought I’d try something creative with an image of Rio I took earlier this year. I think it turned out pretty cool and will definitely be playing around more with some creative ideas!
I thought this place was pretty cool and I haven’t blogged in a while so I thought I’d share our adventure today! I am always scoping out areas for potential sessions and this place would be PERFECT! One of the things I love to do when I deliver client order is to also deliver something extra, in this case, its Seattle’s Chocolate! I finally went to Seattle’s Chocolates in December of last year and bought a ton of chocolate for Christmas gifts and since then, I can’t get enough of this place! I’m not sure why it took me so long to go!? Anyways, I am gearing up for the Taste Washington so I wanted to bring some gifts for my corporate clients and I think they will be happy! This is just the beginning too! I have more client gifts to put together….stay tuned!
