One of the first photoshoots of 2018 was on a cold, rainy day in Covington, sounds a lot like the last photoshoot I did in 2017!   I work with this gorgeous little girl’s father and he was gracious enough to let me photograph her.  She couldn’t be more perfect, right!?  Her favorite word was “Apparently” and she’s only 4! Such a doll and so easy to work with.  LOVE her little face.

Last photoshoot of 2017 was at Bellevue Botanical Gardens.  It was rainy, cold, and dark!  I am always happy to see this family, they are all so photogenic!  It is good to catch up and see how Maxwell has grown, last year he didn’t say much at all…but this year!  Holy Smokes!  He was talking up a storm and was all smiles for the camera.  Thanks guys and looking forward to seeing soon!

I love it when I have the opportunity to collaborate with other Artists!  Korrine Claxton (, a long time friend and makeup Artist I have been working with for years, approached me for an idea she and her model friend Astelle Christoff had been talking about.  OF COURSE I wanted to have some fun and do something creative, the shoot was themed “Candy Apple” and was published in Realm Magazine. We meetup at my studio and I was finally able to use my beauty dish that I had purchased last year.  Everything turned out beautiful, so many great images fro choose from.

Thank you everyone, without you all, this would not have been possible.

A little late with this post, things were crazy busy after October!  I am just now able to have some time to share some images from this outdoor family session I did a the pumpkin patch!  I love this family, Baby N is growing up super fast and I love his squishy body!  Looking forward to his year celebration.  Of course, he’s a future COUG!!!!  GO COUGS!Go Cougs!

I LOVE Halloween!!  Every year we, Korrine (the make up artist I work with) and myself, do a Halloween themed shoot.  This is our chance during the year to do something wild and crazy!!!

The first images, I did the makeup myself as Korrine and I had already done a Day of the Dead theme for out first Halloween themed shoot.  I really wanted to do one with my daughter and husband this year, but by the time I was done with my daughter’s makeup up, it was too late in the day for my husband.  Maybe next year we can do the father daughter Day of the Dead.  I love my daughter’s Sassiness in these images!  She totally rocked it.

The second set of images, Korrine and I decided we wanted to do the Mad Hatter’s Daughter, like she was coming in to have her portraits done.  I am very pleased with how these turned out.  Korrine did an amazing job with the makeup and this year we actually had a hair stylist! FINALLY!  The hair can look good!  Huge Shout out to Brenda Goethals for the beautiful hair that took for ever to do!!  Another thank you to our model, Ruby, she is simply gorgeous and definitely made my job easy.  Thank you to everyone, this wouldn’t be possible without you all!

Enjoy and Happy Halloween!!!
